Cast Metal Asian Bronze Color-Patina Dragon Sculpture “Chinese Lucky Dragon”

For your consideration is this outstanding antique Chinese Lucky Dragon with a wonderful aged bronze color patina. This solid
metal statue
of a Chinese
dragon
creates a very special look for all for Asia lovers and collectors.
The textured designed scales of this traditional “heraldic animal” were elaborately hand crafted in wax before cast in metal. The name of this sculpture process is “Lost Wax” as the wax figure is melted out of the investment casting and replaced by pouring molten metal in where the wax was.….thus the name “lost wax”. Please notice Horns, Scales, Ribbing, Eyes, Mouth and Feet - every detail has been worked out with a lots of attention given to the articulated authentic design.
The way this Chinese Dragon was crafted/created gives it an antique appearance while created within the last 30 years.
The Dimensions are approximately: 9 inches long by 6 inches high by 5 inches wide. It was created in Asia, Thailand I believe as I came by it at an estate sale.
