Description
Circa 1905 poster size print on cardboard by Robert 'Bob' Minor (1884-1952). Caricatures of San Antonio Gazette reporters and employees. This was his first cartooning job and before he became the most famous radical journalist and political cartoonist of his time. Leading member of the American Communist Party, war correspondent, he was the highest paid cartoonist in the
nation and one of the first American cartoonists to employ grease crayon
on paper. In very poor condition, missing parts, edge tears, losses. 13" x 19" but a very rare example of his early work.
