This 1998 vintage Bruno Rossellini doll from GADCO (The Great American Doll Company) is an Artist's Proof, #100/248, signed by the artist/co-founder of the company - please see photos for details.
She can still be found listed in their online catalogue in The GREAT AMERICAN ROYAL BABY SERIES - 26" as "Royal Chloe Love", in a limited edition of 225 wearing a different outfit (now sold out). This doll was apparently her predecessor, part of a limited edition of 248 "artist's proof" dolls. Her dress is tagged as having been designed for GADCO by Eileen Smith. This particular doll has more of a downward cast to her eyes and face than some of the other dolls I have seen pictures of, with a sweet and slightly sad expression. It seems like her head/neck have been engineered to do this, so I think it was the artist's intent and not a defect. Her skin has been softly tinted to give her a more realistic look - truly a collector's doll, even with no box or certificate of authenticity.
