    Wonderful Tibetan GAU
    An extremely rare handcrafted piece!
    I bought this Gaus from a Tibetan living in exile in Nepal.
    Tibetan gauss can be opened at the back like small jars. Tibetans wear the so-called Gaus around their necks. Religious charms and medicinal herbs are kept in them. They are also often used as "portable shrines".
    The beautiful pendant is coin silver, beautifully processed. The surface is a beautiful inlay made of powdered turquoise. On it is the Tibetan character for "Om", this is made of bronze.
