  • Condition: This old wooden egg made in old Asian design has issues,as expected for age, it was gilded first than hand painted designed in enamel paint, as you can see from photos where there is enamel loss is still gold underneath. there is enamel loss in varies areas, most noticeable very close up and more with magnifying glass. there is black bleed at the top and smaller areas. when knocked on sounds like wood. metal stand needs a good polish. over all still makes a good display piece. white shinny spots from lights. pictures taken very close up to show true over all condition. not as noticed as much when just displayed.

    Description

    Antique gold and enameled, wooden Asian egg with gold tone metal stand designed in the old style. this egg is not porcelain, it is completely gilded as you can see where enamel is missing still has gold underneath. does have enamel loss, most visible on close up inspection or magnifying glass. also has a type of dark bleed at top. the size is roughly 2 1/2" tall, and roughly 6 1/2" in diameter. and weighs on scale at 3.5 OZ.
    I am a, I like that hoarder for nearly 40 years, its time someone enjoy these instead of hidden away.
